Taro Plant The taro's medicinal parts are its stem and tuber.
It is effective against bruise, sprain, arthritis, and tonsillitis.
Taro is rich in fiber, and it contains iron, calcium, and potassium, that will give beneficial effect on the nervous system.
For bruise, sprain, and arthritis, grate the whole taro and mix it with equal amount of flour.
Add about one percent of grated ginger and a little salt and mix.
Make a patch of about one centimeter thick of taro paste using a piece of cloth.
Place it on the affected area of the skin until it dries.
Very easy to grow.
Plant will survive winter if brought indoors prior to first fall frost.
