Passiflora Alata produces unusual flowers of scarlet color.
These flowers are fragrant and usually 7 – 10 cm wide.
This unusual flowering plant comes from the Amazon region of Brazil. Produces large edible fruit, oval or pyriform, yellow to bright orange, 8-15 cm long and 5-10 cm wide.
Will not tolerate frost on its roots.
