Texas Bluebonnet
The Bluebonnet was adopted as the State Flower of Texas in 1901 and is most often seen in beautiful floral displays along road sides and in pastures all over the State.
Though native to Texas, they will grow in other areas.
Not only do Bluebonnets serve as lovely harbingers of Spring, but they rank among the most useful of all Texas legumes in returning nitrogen to the soil.
Use as mass plantings in perennial beds.
