Plant forms a low, bushy mound bearing dark upright spikes of glowing violet-blue flowers that attract both hummingbirds and butterflies.

Great in containers or in the mixed border. 

Must have excellent drainage, particularly during winter otherwise plants may rot and not survive

Drought tolerant
